Strong and profitable brands are so much more than a logo - successful branding is strategy-centered. Brand color, typography, patterns, elements, and marks all come together to create recognition and facilitate connection. While we provide a few different project scopes to fit the need of each client, we keep strategy at the forefront in every decision we make.

STEP ONE: INITAL QUESTIONNAIRE

Each and every project begins with a detailed questionnaire. We ask that clients provide as much information as they can, and from there, we jump into review, follow-up questions, and our own research.

We begin to conceptualize what will connect with the clients target audience, explore possible visual directions, and jump into the design process.

STEP TWO: VISUAL BRANDING PROCESS

We provide a holistic branding process, meaning we design the brand as a whole, and typically present clients with two complete concepts. We develop logo variations in cohesion with color palette, typography pairing and usage guidelines, brand elements such as patterns, button styles, imagery, and provide in-use examples to give clients a clear vision of each concept in-practice.

With two strategic, holistic brand concepts designed to connect with a brand's target audience, clients have a chance to review and provide thoughts and feedback. We're here to help give insight and support throughout the decision making process.

This is the longest stretch of the process, where we dive in, research, build out concepts.

MARIM| CONCEPT ONE

STEP THREE: REFINEMENT

Upon presentation of the two brand concepts, thoughts and preferences are welcomed. After the client has a chance to review in-house, independently, we'll chat and share thoughts and ideas. From there, a concept direction is chosen, and and discussed refinements will be implemented. A refined concept presentation is shared with the client for second review. Much of the time, this gets us to our finalization due to detailed brand intake, research, and design process, however an additional round of refinement is included if necessary, and the same process follows.

MARIM | CONCEPT TWO

STEP FOUR: FILE PREPARATION + PHASE 2

Once our brand guidelines are finalized, high quality logo files are prepared in a variety of formats. Transparent png files, high quality jpg files, vector eps files, and your logo source file will be prepared and sent in a large folder. Finalized brand guidelines will be included, and we'll help you understand each file type.

From there, we'll either close the project if our full scope was branding, or we'll jump into phase two, which could look like: website design, stationery design, signage design, marketing collateral, or more. We'll be ready to jump in and extend your branding throughout each consumer touchpoint, creating the strong and cohesive brand presence you've been waiting for.

The best part? We value long term relationships with our clients, and we're always here to jump back in and help when needs arise through ongoing retainer services or on an as-needed basis.
